Samsung announces a new phone for only $155
Samsung announced the launch of a new smartphone priced at only $155. The device in question is Galaxy A03s. This smartphone is currently only released in one market, but it may soon enter more markets. The device dropped in India.
This phone has a waterdrop notch, and the bottom bezel is thicker than the other bezels. The back of the device contains three cameras, and the side fingerprint scanner is also part of the package.
Galaxy A03s is made of polycarbonate and is equipped with a lateral fingerprint scanner.
The device is made of polycarbonate (plastic), and the Samsung logo is located on the back. The camera comes with an LED flash, which is located next to one of the cameras.
As the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and is also equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ (1560 x 720) Infinity-V display.The phone
This smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 11, and Samsung’s One UI 3.1 Core skin is installed on it. This is essentially a UI for low-end smartphones.
As the device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Type-C USB port on the bottom of the phone. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual 4G VoLTE.
This phone is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space, or 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. By the way, both variants provide up to 1TB of expandable storage.
It contains three cameras on the back. A 13-megapixel main camera (f/2.2 aperture) is paired with a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). There is also a 5-megapixel front camera (f/2.2 aperture).
The phone measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 196 grams. The device has three colors: black, blue, and white. The two models of this phone are priced at 11,499 Indian rupees (155 US dollars) and 12,499 Indian rupees (168 US dollars), respectively, in India. This phone is currently unique to India, and it may remain in this state. However, who knows that Samsung may provide it in more markets? We will wait and see.
