Apple will launch iPhone 13, Watch Series 7, iPad mini 6, and more this fall
This year, Apple will launch the highly anticipated iPhone 13 series, 6th generation iPad mini, Apple Watch Series 7, and AirPods 3. However, like last year, Apple will not launch all devices in September but will launch these devices in a series of events, just like last year.
In the weekly Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman reported that Apple would launch a large number of products this fall. Gullman said that although the 2021 iPhone upgrade should be a “classic Apple S model,” Apple still named it the iPhone 13.
Gulman has previously revealed that the iPhone 13 Pro model will be equipped with a 120Hz ProMotion display panel. With the advent of high refresh rate panels, the iPhone 13 series will have major camera upgrades. It will incorporate a larger camera sensor and be able to record portrait mode and ProRes video.
Apple iPhone 13, Watch Series 7, iPad mini 6, and more are said to be launched this fall.
This phone can be equipped with a faster A15 Bionic processor and even with an always-on display.
In addition to iPhone 13, Apple will also launch the next-generation Apple AirPods 3 next month. Gurman said AirPods 3 would have “a design closer to AirPods Pro, including a new in-ear shape and a shorter rod.” He said this would be “the most significant update of Apple’s AirPods series since the first model debuted in 2016. Gurman claims that although it has a design similar to AirPods Pro, AirPods 3 will not have active noise reduction ( ANC) or transparent mode
It is expected that Apple will also launch Watch Series 7 and iPhone 13 series in September. Gurman expects that Watch Series 7 will be “redesigned” with a flatter display and updated screen technology, as well as a faster processor. Apple has recently been updating more devices’ designs to flatten, and the latest redesign is Apple Watch Series 7.
Series 7 is expected to adopt a new double-sided chip design to save some space. However, due to space savings, Apple is not likely to introduce any new sensors in Apple Watch Series 7. According to reports, Apple will use a larger battery to replace the new sensor.
According to Bloomberg News, in addition to Series 7, Apple also “prepared” a variant of the Time to Walk function for Apple Fitness+ subscribers.
Gurman expects Apple to launch the 6th generation iPad mini and the 9th generation basic iPad this fall. He said that the iPad mini 6 is “destined to become the favorite of Apple fans because of its thinner bezels and a completely redesigned one.”
According to previous reports, Apple will provide an iPad Pro design for iPad mini, with a smaller frame and no Touch ID Home button. It will use the upcoming A15 bionic chipset and will host a USB Type-C connector to replace Lightning. Moreover, like the iPad Air, the next-generation iPad mini 4 will also be equipped with a fingerprint sensor in the power button.
Finally, Gurman also said, “A thinner and faster ninth-generation iPad for students is coming soon.”
Just like last year, Gulman said that Apple would hold a separate event to release its next-generation MacBook Pro. There is no news about when Apple will launch the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, but Gurman said that the M1X MacBook Pro should “should still go on sale before the two-year anniversary of the current MacBook Pro.”
