AMD Radeon RX 6800M features leaked

AMD Radeon RX 6800M

In October last year, AMD launched the RX 6000 graphics card with RDNA 2 architecture, thus entering the market ambitiously. However, problems in chip production and excessive demand have led to insufficient inventory. I don’t know if something similar will happen in the Mobil RX 6000 series. Although NVIDIA has inventory issues in desktop graphics cards, it continues to produce on mobile devices.

AMD Radeon RX 6800M features leaked: Navi 22

@KOMACHI_ENSAKA, known for hardware leaks on Twitter, presented new information. In its opinion, AMD will prefer Navi 22 GPU like the RX 6800M card. AMD has also experienced a decline in the performance of mobile graphics cards. The performance of the RX 6800M is expected to be slightly lower than that of the RX 6700 XT, which is code-named 73D5: C3.

Radeon RX 6800M features 2560 stream processors (equivalent to NVIDIA’s CUDA core). Navi 22 GPU has four different TGP values: 145W, 135W, 100W and 90W. The 145W model is estimated to be RX 6800M. RX 6700M is expected to be available in 100W and 90W models.

It is said that the Navi 22 GPU will have a 192-bit or 160-bit memory bus. Depending on this configuration, the card may have 12 GB or 10 GB of VRAM.

The RX 6600M and RX 6500M cards will compete with NVIDIA models based on GA106 GPUs. These two cards are very likely to be released together with Navi 23 GPU. Ultimately, Navi 24 GPU is expected to compete with Intel Xe and NVIDIA MX400 series.
