OnePlus Nord CE 5G update brings multiple camera and system improvements
OnePlus has released a new software update for OnePlus Nord CE 5G. This update upgrades the OxygenOS version to 11.0.4.4 and brings a number of system and camera improvements and equipment optimizations.
According to the official update log, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G has improved the face unlock function through the latest update. The unlocking process should now feel faster and smoother. The update also improves the charging speed, but it is not clear whether the overall charging time has changed significantly.
In terms of camera-related improvements, OnePlus promised to reduce noise in dark areas of night scene photos. The photo should now look more natural with fewer artifacts. The selfie camera has also received some performance improvements.
The new Nord mobile phone also has some optimizations to the video call experience. Last but not least, OnePlus stated that it had fixed known issues in the device and improved system stability.

Once OnePlus confirms that the new software is error-free, it will roll out updates widely. The firmware version of this update is 11.0.4.4.EB13DA (Indian market), 11.0.4.EB13AA (European market) and 11.0.4.4.EB13BA (North America).
For the Indian version of the phone, the weight of the over-the-air (OTA) update is 172MB. It should be a similar size download in other regions. The latest update of OnePlus Nord CE 5G also bundles the June 2021 Android security patch.
