New Samsung Galaxy Book & Galaxy Book Pro are compatible with Windows 11
Today, Samsung announced the launch of two new ultra-light laptops for business users and users who want to work on the go. The new Samsung Galaxy Book & Galaxy Book Pro are Windows 11 compatible machines, equipped with Intel Evo’s 11th generation Core processor, providing a compact and comfortable working experience.
These devices are pre-installed with Windows 10 Professional. Still, the company promises that when Windows 11 is released to the public later this year, it will be compatible and support Windows 11 in the future. Galaxy Book Pro is available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch versions to “meet the needs of different business customers.” The device has a Super AMOLED display, & the notebook itself is made of aerospace-grade aluminum, and the design is more robust and durable.
The new device uses the 11th-generation Intel Evo-certified Core processor, which provides better graphics, faster connections, and longer battery life. Samsung claims that it supports Wi-Fi 6, and the battery should last “all day.”
Book Pro and Galaxy Book are both designed for the modern workplace. These devices come with Windows 10 Professional and can be upgraded to Windows 11 Professional for greater security, better collaboration, and better manageability. Samsung also stated that these devices work with the full set of Samsung solutions available in the Galaxy ecosystem, which means taking notes on a tablet and sending emails from the Galaxy Book is as easy as before.
Samsung Galaxy Book and Galaxy Book Pro Business Edition are now available in the United States and national solution providers (including CDW, Insight, and Collection). It will also be available in TD Synnex, D&H, and Ingram Micro. Pricing starts at US$899. Samsung will also support technical support and extend (through Samsung Care+ for Business) the warranty period for repairs and accidental damage, up to three years.
