Huawei will release new products on October 21
Although we don’t know much about Huawei and its products, considering its global challenges, the company is very active and doing well. Huawei has issued an invitation for the next event, which will be held in Vienna on October 21.
The invitation letter did not reveal much information, but we can speculate that the company will officially launch the latest Huawei P50 series, which was announced in July earlier this year and is currently only available in China. The company may also release new products, but we have no information about what these might be.
Huawei may also release new Mate 50 series devices and other Mate series products, such as laptops, fitness trackers, watches, etc. However, the most likely product to be released is the new P50 series. Regardless of what products the company launches globally or in Europe, its availability may be restricted due to U.S. trade restrictions preventing the company from obtaining the chipsets needed for its equipment.
In Europe, the demand for Huawei products has become very low because these devices no longer support any Google services and cannot access the Google Play store. Although Huawei’s application library has become better over time, it still lacks many applications, not to mention many popular Android applications, such as Youtube.
Quick review, Huawei P50 series includes Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. The standard version of the P50 is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 SoC 4G chipset, while the P50 Pro is equipped with the Kirin 9000 chip. Both devices have a 50MP main camera sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. The P50 is priced at approximately US$700, while the Pro model starts at around US$1,000. We will learn more about the services that Huawei must provide at the event on October 21.
