OnePlus 9RT may be equipped with 50MP OIS triple camera, Snapdragon 870
OnePlus introduced the cheaper R version in the OnePlus 9 series for the first time. Recently, a report indicated that the company would launch the OnePlus 9RT smartphone sometime in October. The phone will be updated in the middle of the year and is expected to bring some improvements over the existing OnePlus 9R. Now, the detailed specifications of the upcoming OnePlus phone have appeared on the Chinese Weibo website-Weibo. According to the latest leak, the upcoming 9RT will be equipped with an upgraded camera system, and the processing unit is said to be the same as the 9R. It is said that the OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a 6.55-inch FHD + E3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. We can expect this phone to have a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera, similar to the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. The phone will use a glass sandwich design with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an aluminium alloy chassis if it leaks.
It is said that the upcoming OnePlus 9RT will be equipped with an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. This is the same as the processor of the OnePlus 9R sports. It may contain UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. The leaks claims that OnePlus 9RT will start in three storage memory configurations-8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
Compared with 9R, one of the most significant changes of 9RT may be the inclusion of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. This is not surprising because the recently launched mid-range OnePlus Nord 2 is equipped with the same 50MP main shooter. In addition to the Sony IMX766 shooting game, the upcoming OnePlus 9RT is also said to provide a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP black and white sensor.
It is said that the upcoming OnePlus phone is equipped with the same battery and charging technology as the OnePlus 9R.
