Realme 8S is scheduled to be released overseas on September 9, the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
Today Madhav Sheth, president of Realme India, released a warm-up poster on Twitter, announcing that Realme 8S will be released in India on September 9 local time, and the world premiere will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC.
According to previous news, the MediaTek Dimensity 810 uses a 6nm process, and the processor has an Arm Cortex-A76 core with the main frequency of 2.4GHz and a Cortex-A55 small core, but the frequency is unknown. This SoC integrates Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and only supports LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 (2-lane) flash memory. In terms of communication, Dimensity 810 supports dual-mode 5G and Bluetooth 5.1, but Wi-Fi only supports the 5th generation and does not support Wi-Fi 6.
Realme 8S, Realme 8i mobile phones will be released at the same time; the latter will be equipped with MediaTek Helio G96 SoC.
Realme 8i will be equipped with a 6.5-inch 90Hz screen, memory capacity 6GB/8GB, storage space 128GB/256GB optional. Phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a built-in 5000mAh battery, and support 33W fast charging. The rendering of the mobile phone has been exposed before, and it can be seen that the mobile phone has three rear cameras and uses a side fingerprint recognition scheme.
