During the 2021 World Mobile Communications Conference, Qualcomm Technologies announced the launch of a new Snapdragon 888Plus5G mobile platform, an upgraded product of the Snapdragon 888 flagship mobile platform.

According to Qualcomm, the above two platforms have supported more than 130 terminals released or under development. Snapdragon 888 Plus supports complete Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, providing HDR graphics quality and mobile-first end-game features. The Snapdragon 888 and the Snapdragon 888 Plus integrated Qualcomm Kryo 680 CPU have a core frequency of up to 3.0GHz. In addition, the 6th generation Qualcomm AI engine it supports has a computing power of 32 trillion operations per second. AI performance has improved by more than 20%.

The upgraded Qualcomm flagship mobile platform will support Asus, Honor, Motorola, Vivo, and Xiaomi in the second half of 2021. At present, mobile phone manufacturers such as Asustek, Honor, Vivo, and Xiaomi have stated that they are developing products based on the Snapdragon 888 Plus. The first batch of products is expected to be officially released in the third quarter of this year.
